Our Story
Closing the Gaps. Strengthening Families. Changing Futures.
Thriving Together TN was founded in 2023 out of a shared dream: to create a brighter future for children and families in our community. A small group of dedicated, community-minded professionals came together with one vision—to close the gaps that too often leave families without the support they need, especially those touched by child welfare and the juvenile court system.
From the very beginning, we recognized the urgent need for stronger resources, deeper community awareness, and a more compassionate approach to helping families heal and grow. Guided by a board of directors with diverse expertise across child welfare, family services, and community systems, we began building a mission rooted in hope and action.
Our goal is bold yet simple: to create safe, stable, nurturing environments where families not only survive but thrive. By standing with families at risk of separation and working to strengthen an overburdened foster care system, we believe that together, we can rewrite the story for countless children, parents, and caregivers. Together, we are building pathways toward thriving families and a thriving community.

Since our founding in 2023, Thriving Together TN has helped hundreds of individuals and families in Tennessee. From Safe Baby Court services to our Family Forward program, we are proud of the impact we have made. But there is still much work to be done, and we are committed to continuing our efforts.
